In a true 'game of two halves' Reading beat Everton 2-1 to secure their first league win of the season. Trailing to a first half Steven Naismith goal, the Royals battled back with two goals from Adam Le Fondre to haul themselves out of the relegation zone.

This wasn't pretty, this wasn't our best performance of the season but my word was it a gutsy second half that could well set us on the path to survival. Two second half goals from Adam Le Fondre made a miserable first half a distant memory as Reading finally broke their winless run in their 11th game of the season. Results elsewhere meant that we even escaped the bottom three, so for the next seven days at least, we can walk around with a smile.
So here we go, time to end that long, long run without a league win and actually go home satisfied on a Saturday afternoon.
The last time Reading won a home game on a Saturday? The 24th of March, so yeah, it's been a while.
Team wise and several players have niggles and illness issues so there could be late changes. If everyone is fit then the only changes we might see is Kebe or Robson-Kanu in for McCleary who hasn't been particularly effective since returning to the side. Elsewhere and Pog could well come in for Hunt.
