Seems that Joseph Mills will be moving on to pastures new, with TTE sources suggesting Burnley are set to announce his signing in the next few days.
Jason Roberts seem to back up the claim on twitter, tweeting.
One of the worst things about Football is Teammates leaving so frequently...we can always remember what we achieved together #Champions
The left-back only signed a new deal earlier this year but the signing of Nicky Shorey seems to have meant there's no room in the 25-man squad for the 22 year-old.
Mills was a bit unlucky to pick up an injury just as he was looking settled in the side and that coupled with Ian Harte's resurgence seems to have ended his chances of playing Premier League football next season.
It's another case of a good little player not being quite good enough to justify a place in such a limited squad. I'm sure there's no personal problems between the club and the player, just a consequence of the new squad rules.
If the move is confirmed we wish Joseph all the best for the future and thank him for being part of a very special squad last year.
EDIT: The move's now been made official, on loan for the season, though we understand there's an option to make the move permanent. Seems like a good deal for all parties really.
