Anton Zingarevich speaks to the Evening Standard

1

On Tuesday Reading's new owner Anton Zingarevich gave his first interview to a national newspaper, speaking with Mihir Bose of the Evening Standard. In quite a frank interview he's explained some of the reasons that he went for Reading, why the deal fell through with Everton (fear of the media it would seem) and some of his long term plans for Reading. He comes across I think as being very open (accept with regards to the details of whose money it actually is) and I find it reassuring that the Premier League has clearly been burnt by their experience with Venky's and Blackburn. It'd be interesting to know what you all think
