Kone had a stormer against a terrible Reading side - Steve Bardens
Tweets of the Week! Huzzah! How do you like your tea? There's a debate between Royals fans, as well as the usual madness from within camp.
How do you take your tea?
@meganjpdouglas @craigo1871 is sweetener allowed? #copout?
@thetilehurstend @craigo1871 @meganjpdouglas milk & 2 sugars please
Happy birthday Jem.
Happpyyyy birthday to this guy!! @jemkaracan4 ... Love you brother! twitter.com/seanmorrison_9…
@jemkaracan4 happy birthday 🎂 mate!! #lovesaskinnypairofjeans #tightttttttt
@a1f1e9 @jemkaracan4 he didn't even wish u a happy bday at training.
Reading seem to breed super subs.
Reading's Adam Le Fondre & Spurs' Gylfi Sigurdsson have both come off the bench 16 times this season, more than any other PL player.
ALF not only has a neat finish, but neat driving etiquette.
I'd like to thank ALF, in his sleek white Mercedes, for letting me out of the Tesco on the busy Shinfield Road. Cheers. @a1f1e9 #readingfc
Akpan gets positive before the shambles that was the Wigan game.
Big game today! Looking forward to seeing the sea of scarves at the madejski!! #URZZ #readingfc
Whilst our very own twitter feed gets a bit... lost in the past.
Was this really 12 years ago? Possibly still the best night game at the Madejski Stadium, cheers @nickyforster200youtube.com/watch?v=CF5SMI…
Rage. We don't blame them.
Just witnessed a #readingfc fan snap his season ticket and throw it at the players... #FootballRage
To say we were shit is an understatement #readingfc
Controversial?
Right. You know what? I reckon relegation and rebuilding could be good for #ReadingFC. Brian knows what's required now.
Whilst there are fears that Bill Oddie might not be rubbing his beard all over our bodies.
After that performance, I highly doubt Bill Oddie will continue to rub his beard all over our bodies. #readingfc @billoddie
As if losing 3-0 wasn't bad enough, this stat brings home just how horrific the boys in royal blue hoops were.
4 of the top 5 passers in the Premier League today were from #WAFC:Maloney - 90McArthur - 83McCarthy - 82Sharner - 79
Some fans look back in time for some of the most horrendous recent performnces.
@royalhoops Watford last yr, Plymouth away few yrs ago (4-1) and West Brom first 80 mins. Late comebacks have covered over bad performances
@royalhoops 1-2 at home VS barnsley(missed 2 pens) 4-1 VS plymouth, 0-2 VS watford, West brom home and away this season. Been loads.
And try to get slightly positive about the good times.
@royalhoops Mcdermotts first games in charge 1-1 VS bristol city, 1-3 VS southampton, 0-4 VS barnsley away, Leicester away(Twice).
@royalhoops Can I go back as far back as the record-breaking season? If so 2-1 Sheff Utd - Gunnar double. Brilliant!
Hope tries to move on. Maybe the lads should give up the Nandos until we see a decent performance?
Recovery Sunday nandos, still hurting from Saturdays game. #ontothenextone
Some brighter news for us, golden boy Gylfi Sigurdsson (who the majority of fans still dream about) changed the game for Spurs on Monday, and even got on the scoresheet.
36 - Gylfi Sigurdsson's goal came from his 36th shot for Tottenham in the Premier League. Wait.
So pleased for Sigurdsson too - I thought he had a really positive impact when he came on.
Happy for Sigurdsson too, not seen much from him so far but played well when he came on
Just spoken to Sigurdsson: "It's been awhile! I've hit the post a few times but it's a great feeling in a London derby" #COYS #THFC
TOTW has an inkling that McDermott might be experimenting with something, given Pog's red.
Played in an attacking role upfront in friendly today, back to full health 2 goals 3 assists. #6-0 #Boom
Dressing room BANTz.
“@piercesweeney1: Best of luck to @jordanobita tonight playing for Oldham against Everton in FA Cup replay! #stillugly”fool haha
On to the next one...
Midfielder @hopeakpan speaking now, he's excited to return to the club where he started his career #readingfc twitter.com/ReadingFC/stat…
McCleary says Akpan is gunning for #Everton bit.ly/WjbtvK #readingfc
Ian Harte... he's a bit outspoken, isn't he?
Ian Harte - Players are treated like pieces of meat... that's why I want to be an agent: dailymail.co.uk/sport/football… #readingfc
We've not seen an Alfie goal for too long now. These awards really are cursed.
